Have you ever heard of fiafia? fiafia is when you perform your cultural dance on a stage to your faona or brother or sister.fiafia happens every second year here at our school. we have cultural groups theres cook Island kapa haka and niuean and asian. I have been practicing in my group for 7 weeks. our fiafia is going to be on wednesday night on the school field.  

I am’ in jump jam with Miss Walters and mrs Barks.I have been practicing to put energy into my moves and to smile when I go on the stage. And focus on the move’s. Our second song is hard but I don’t think so. we all try our best to do it at the same time but the front row is better.    

I feel excited and worried about fiafia. In 2016 I hope to join precisely that next time. I'm’ looking forward to being in the best fiafia group ever.

Introduction:

Do you know how to swim?learning to swim is important. there are lots of reasons why and I’m going to show you three of the reason.

one of the reasons why swimming is important because nz has one of the worst drowning rates in the world. twenty five percent of

children age 0-10 don’t know how to swim.

new zealand is the smallest country in the world it is surround  by  a big pile of water.There are  lakes and river  and beaches also ocean. some people don’t know  how to swim so they take swimming lesson at

there local pool.

Conclusion: learning to swim is important? you can drown and died. children age 0-10 that go in the water and float for a few minutes they drown and died. when it hot people love to go swimming.

My Sensational Swimming

Have you ever been taught by a swimming instructor before? class 9 walk to the Glen nnes aquatics center for swimming lesson. We learn rocket arm streamline arms small kick freestyle chin on chest all kinds of swimming. I’m in group 2 my instructor is Laura. We need to have swimming lessons so nobody could drown. New Zealand is surrounded by a big oceans of water. There is the south ocean the indian ocean the north ocean all kinds of oceans.        

My instructor laura has been teaching me great stuff my favourite swimming style was gilding. When it came to my turn I was abit worried but when I put one hand on the board and  started kicking my legs in the water like  scissors I was doing it! But I almost sunk at the end of the pretend island.

Next year I'm looking forward to new skills on the board or new skills with my hand’s. I have had the greatest instructor for my group. Next year I’m going to improve by getting in group three.

Start your writing here: the sun shone brightly as we walk quickly to our swimming lessons. I was feeling exhausted from the brisk walk.As I dipped my toes into the glistening water’ I felt a cold jolt run up my leg.I quickly dove into the pool and I felt refreshed as if the day behind me had disappeared. reflection; I think I did really well today.
