Boxing at the Commonwealth Games

Boxing is a cause board of the Commonwealth games which started in 1930.Competitors a grouped according to their weight division.These divisions are thirteen different categories.from light fly weight to super heavy weight. This year was the first year for females to compete.

The Commonwealth games has come to an end.athletes trained almost all year round to compete.They traveled around the world taking part in many competition challenging tough competitors. It is common for athletes to have a trainer or a coach and sometimes they live in academies.they need to stick with strict diet and eat food that conditions there body's for there sports they participate in.

Patrick Bevin was one of the people who took part in the commonwealth games.He was born in 1991 and he is 23 years old. Patrick Bevin does cycling in the commonwealth games.He plays for New Zealand. His parents inspired him to be in the commonwealth games.
