Adam Trade fair recount

This Term our topic is Trade and enterprise. Enterprising means having or showing initiative and resourcefulness. For example the year 7 and 8 are seeing what they can do with twenty dollars. If I had twenty dollars I would save it up, it’s much better, soon you will have a lot of money plus you can buy anything you want, thats showing initiative and  resourcefulness.

This Term the year 5 and 6 have held a trade fair. Our trade fair is sort of like a fair it’s just that we make and sell. At the trade fair we took orders from people so that when they go away next time we can get it ready for them. At the trade fair we had a table set out and some people even started to yell out to get their product. And some people even setted a fun game for people to win a prize that was my favourite part about the trade fair.

We had to choose our business groups for the trade fair. We called it business groups because we crafted and made it’s sort of like a job. We were lucky to choose our business groups, out of 6 groups Homeware, Toys, Kitchen, Jewelry, Custom stationery and Music, I chose toys. In toy’s I made a rubber band gun. With the rubber band gun we made a shooting range, the aim was to shoot all the cups down.

At the trade fair I enjoyed the experience even though I didn't get to go shopping or buy anything I still enjoyed it. My favourite part at the trade fair was when people came in to have a try at the shooting range. Next to my business group was the tin pin bowling group. It was sort of like we were enemies because people mostly came to their business group because they were hearing that if you get them all down your name goes down in the raffle ticket draw.

We were sort of lucky because we gotted to have another trade fair in week 8. But we only got 2 weeks left until the next trade fair. But so far me and my partner zack have catched up with making our rubber band gun. And I hope at the next trade fair I can get more orders.

Here is a peace of writing that I have made about the trade fair. Our task was to write what our product was what happened what were our stories what group we were in and what the trade fair was. My favourite part about this writing is when I talked about our group next to us tin pin bowling.

Maths Problem Solving Week 5: Term 3

WALT: Multiply and divide whole numbers

For this problem solving session I multiplied and divided whole numbers.
Like 394 x 5 ? Here is how I solved it 300 x 5 = 1500   90 x 5 = 450
4 x 5 = 20   1500 + 450 = 1950  1950 + 20 = 1970 and that is your answer.

Maths Problem Solving Week 4: Term 3

WALT: Add and subtract decimals.

Today for this problem solving presentation We subtracted decimals but in a harder way.
For example 3.1 - 1.7 =? Now first we subtract 3 by 1 that equals 2. Subtract
1 by 7 that will equal nothing.1.7 + 1.4 = 3.1  1.7 + .3 = 2.   .2 + 1.1 = 3.1
And that is how is how you solve it.

Maths Teacher Lesson Week 3: Term 3

WALT: Add and Subtract Decimals

Today for Teacher lesson we focused on subtracting decimals.
But today we learnt how to subtract decimals that wasn't possible to subtract.
For example 3.1 - 1.7 =? Now first we subtract 3 by 1 that equals 2. Subtract
1 by 7 that will equal nothing.1.7 + 1.4 = 3.1  1.7 + .3 = 2.   .2 + 1.1 = 3.1
And that is how is how you solve it.

Disgusting Non delicious Jaffas Chocolate

Disgusting Non delicious Jaffas Chocolate

Jaffas. If Mum would serve that for dessert I would say no to that.

Dairy milk Jaffas is a new chocolate with small little orange chocolates inside it. On the packet it shows the small orange chocolates that are mixed with dairy milk chocolate.

I thought of the product needed to be arrested under law for selling to people disgusting chocolate. It looked delicious in the first place but once you put it in you mouth and it starts to melt you can taste the orange mixed with chocolate. It smelt like nothing as I thought that it had no smell it might taste nice but once again it tasted non delicious. As I felt it it quickly started
to melt in my hands yet it was quite hot in the classroom It felt like I was in the Sahara desert.

The taste of it might taste disgusting but if I would to change the product and add something new I would change the jaffas to a strawberry flavour. The reason why I would change the flavour to strawberry is because It has sweetness in it and the flavour is much bitter than orange.
I would not recommend the product because of all the small orange chocolates. I like the dairy milk chocolate because it’s a usual and normal chocolate that just taste normal. I think that I’d recommend it as a no because orange flavored chocolates is not someone's type of chocolate.

For this Problem solving presentation we subtracted decimals but in a hard
way. For example 5.9 - 3.3 =? So first we did 5 + 3 = 8. Then 0.9 + 0.3
equals 1.2 . So we left with 8 + 1.2 = 9.2 So that's your answer.

Bean bags for hire 3pt Whole day

Bean bags for hire

Bean bags are the most comfortable and luxurious chair to sit on.

During class time the bean bags are available for hire to sit on. Instead of sitting on the hard uncomfortable floor or on a chair, you will be able to sit on the relaxing bean bag to settle back and do your work.

The bean bags are filled with soft expensive beans and covered in a rubber skin. They can be sliced into the shape of your choice. You can choose to sit on the bean bag, or use it to lean back on and relax quietly.

The bean bags come in two magnificent different colours. A blue one like the ocean, and a green one like a lake full of ducks. It’s your choice which one you want to sit on and relax.

The price is 3pt. You pay once at the beginning of the day when the sun is awake and then you can use the beanbag for the rest of the day for sitting on and relaxing.

Remember for 3pt you can sit at a beanbag during class all day.

Today we wrote about a advertisement about bean bags. For this task we had to
persuaded people to buy it make them interested in it. We wrote Instead of sitting on hard
floor you can sit on the comfortable bean bag.
